Anthony,
I wasn't trying to suggest that there is not enough incentive. I agree with you 100%. I think you might have missed my post regarding why I thought it would have an added benefit( i'm reposting it here). No matter though, because if you don't like the idea thats OK with me. I hope you had a great time in Vegas and Pm me when you get a chance. I needed to ask you a question and didn't want to bother calling you there.
Rob

Bear,
I really think you mis construed my idea. I want to state right off the bat that I wasn't
suggesting it for personal gain. I have no problem paying $1000 or $10,000. I dropped
$1000 as soon as Anthony mentioned the charity thing without even thinking about it.
There are others on this thread who can't afford it and its a way for them to participate,
but much more importantly its an excersise to actually encourage intelligent participation.
We always make fun of the lemmings on the long threads and how they just lurk and
then mindlessly fall of the cliff. Well I think this thread is starting to bring in people who
are starting to mindlessly short stocks now. This is very dangerous. In my company, I
always incent the behavior I am trying to reinforce, and as a result get very positive
results. My suggestion was of the same nature. not so I could get a free ride.
If I wanted to do that I would just sit back and lurk.
Respectfully Yours,
Rob
P.S. I agree about people asking the same stupid questions over and over agian without
reading the entire thread first.

P.P.S. If my idea was considered a good one I would request it does not apply to me
since some people thought I was suggesting it for personal gain.
