That's a good point I had not thought of. They may have used knives when they were surprised by the sunglass wielding waiter to lessen any noise in a nice neighborhood where someone would call the police immediately.

If I were the killer I would want to get those bloody gloves off me and throw them away. I wouldn't worry about concealing them as I would be on the run. If I was running to my car which I had parked behind the building I would want them off before I got into the car. If OJ had done it and went to the trouble to conceal the clothes he was wearing because they would be all bloody, why did he not also hide the gloves? It's inconsistent with the police theory; they never found any bloody clothes or the murder weapons. When it was said their were two knives they decided OJ used two himself. What a superman. Why not two killers, the drug dealers.

I don't remember about the shoe prints; if the evidence was conclusive or not. The worst part of the case was the revelations about the sloppy evidence collection; the going back for more blood evidence days and even a week after the murder. The vial of OJ's blood in the detectives pocket as he walked around the crime scene, contaminating it. And also at OJ's residence.

Well on the race issue I don't know. I'm white and live in a very white part of the country. Race is not an issue with me, only the evidence. The jury only needed reasonable doubt, the incompetence of the prosecution and police work was enough to supply that. So I personally don't think he got away with murder because he had a black jury. It was shown at the trial that the detectives were liars and racist, that was true. I don't think he did it. It's an unpopular view, especially among woman.

Drug people do not use knives. They use guns.

The bloody prints matched the size and tread of the Bruno Mali shoes owned by OJ. However, I suppose defense counsel may have argued this cannot be assumed they were OJ's - I can't remember the defense response.
