Hey Curtis, you said the same thing I said, but in different words (and I switched the E and I in IETF, how embarrassing). Actually, everything I posted I got off of Juniper's website, so I'm not making any of it up. I just paraphrased from their explanation of the M40. I guess I did a poor job. And as far as interoperability, that is what I said. One of the M40's strengths is that it is compatible with Cisco stuff, because it is not proprietary. That statement was directed at someone else who posted that Cisco could introduce a new standard that would put Jupiter out of business. I simply don't think it's as easy as all that.

Anyway, it's all a moot discussion, because we all know that Cisco will kick ass whether or not there are competitors out there. I just like getting the discussion going in different directions than the usual back and forth between jach and the rest of the thread. Good luck to you.
