Two of the dead give away Gorilla features that AMAT doesn't exhibit are extremely high margins and extremely deep penetration of their target markets. msft, csco, and intc all run well over 60% for each of these metrics. I'm not sure that's possible in the fragmented and highly competitive s/c equipment sector. Personally, I have gravitated away from the semiconductor and semiconductor equipment companies due to their cyclical natures. Funny, since I was in the biz for 25 years; guess I burned out on 4 year cycles... tough on sales types <g>. Frank
