What I do is park away from the door, far into the remote empty spaces where the fat-ass
lazy pigs who are too lazy to walk a few steps would never park. Because they would lose
their breath getting to the mall door. Works like a charm.

Victor,

This does work and I have tried it when a vehicle is new. The problem is during the holiday season all the spaces are used so I get dinged then anyhow.

I do find it comical seeing all the people circling the lot looking for a close space to the front door. During the holiday season, I park farther out so I do not have to circle. I carry two laptops and a briefcase maybe 100 yards. I never really measured. The point is I am in the door and the same people are still circling.

Most of the people who fight like hell for a space close to the door so they don't have to
walk also pay $30 per month to belong to a health club so they can try to lose weight.

I suspect for the last ten years it has been popular for people, particularly the elderly, to walk the mall concourse in the AM to lose weight. They go in the AM because shopping traffic is small prior to the stores opening. I also understand the need to be indoors for this exercise since in this area, the climate does not cooperate well. These people are typically still there as we open for the first 1/2 hour. Imagine how much they buy since they are not willing to even pay for a health club<G>

Glenn

PS The Landlord counts them as traffic when lease negotiations come up:-)
