Hi CJ,
Nuinsco started drilling the Lac Rocher in March/98 after acquiring original claims from two prospectors ( PR 03/31/98 ).Without having to spend much money results received from early drilling convinced them to stake additional claims. While securing their land position in the area plans were initiated to do a rights offering to raise money for the next stage of drilling (completed 12/16/98 ).So they had 1.1 M when they started drilling in January.
Nuinsco had no trouble getting another 10 M committment after announcing the results of the 'discovery hole'.
I still believe the drill/s on site should be operating now and could be driven out of the bush after the floats drop off the larger units.

Regards : John
P.S. Yes,the book sure is a good read.
