From abcnews? This is odd. I don't know if this is a particularly big deal, something with Cygnus, an old seller (well, 10 years is pretty old here) of support and service for gcc and other free/open software things. It's strange to see stuff like this picked up by mainstream media. Just another thing to watch for.
