I don't believe that Questor is a likely buyer of the company. Questor typically is motivated to get a sizable position in a company and then try to improve its value through its relationships. I suspect that the crusader deal may have been generated by Questor's contacts with GM.

Beru on the other hand appears to have a much greater appetite. Beru wanted the Schneebeck estate stock when Questor grabbed it last May and has been fairly aggressive in buying stock from very old holders of IMPCO, primarily in private transactions.

At some point (and I think its sooner rather than later) they will have to disclose what they are really up to. I suspect that Kern has gotten involved after seeing Beru's 13-d filings.
