come on man, Clinton is a sexual predator, and should be locked away. The fact that he's running loose in the WH is proof that our system of justice has holes large enough to drive an 18-wheeler through.

Bill Clinton, you're disgusting. And your wife is a bitch.

<<Should we be subjected to having any and every person that doesn't like us post on the internet lies about us or things never proven and just sort of looking suspect?>>

NO WAY!! I know, lets start with that piece of shit from the white house that went on national tv and lied about Jennifer Flowers, Monica Lewinski, Paula Jones, etc etc etc.

<<The protection of personal privacy is going to be a very hot issue on the near future and the Dem's are already on the winning side of this issue.>>

Its about time. Wish you could've lent a hand to poor Juanita Broddrick. She brought up an issue a couple of days ago about some asshole invading her privacy. Oh yea, it was that same proven liar and cheat that hangs out in the White House, bill clinton.

Sheese, you guys outa kick his butt out.

From a legal standpoint you are simply wrong. Libel/slander of a public figure, especially a politician is a VERY difficult legal burden to prove. The person who's claiming a libel must prove the the person committing the alleged libel/slander spoke the words or wrote the words with actual knowledge that the statements were untrue. By all accounts, Ms. Broaddrick is at least credible giving anyone who wants to claim that Clinton is a rapist the legal fig which is necessary to dodge such a claim. She is married, wealthy, not seeking a book deal, etc. Not the nut or slut the WH usually uses to blacken its detractors. The standard of libel for someone like myself or yourself who is not a public figure is somewhat lower as it should be. We have not asked for, nor sought out, the public spotlight to shine upon us. The obvious difference is that as a public figure and a political figure it would be dangerous to suppress a vigorous dialogue. Its the rough and tumble of the public spotlight. I think the system works. It is the rule of law. JLA
