>>1) Abuse monopoly power against the competitor and which hurt the consumers.

So, to make it a case, DOJ has to proved

a) Microsoft has monopoly

b) Microsoft Abuse the monopoly power against the competitors
c) as a result of b) , consumers got hurt.

So far , I see none of the above is proved by the DOJ !!!!

Talking about Monopoly, the DOJ is the biggest monster which promotes monopoly
and prohibits competition with patent right <<

Ed your presentation is highly substantive and agreed to be most accurate by the majority of the american people and I would not be surprised if the feeling is worlds wide.

It was OK for Sun Microsystems and Netscape to mention that there were going to kill Microsoft.
but when Microsoft makes any move to grow in the new internet industry and are gaining market share, its competitors now cry antitrust and turn to the government to go in partnership. It is clear to see that there are many Microsoft haters who just plain envious and jealous of Microsoft's success. The government went after IBM for 10 years and got nowhere. Now they go after Microsoft and I do not see this going anywhere except just blowing the taxpayers money.

There you go again Ed,

Now you are calling other negative posters as MSFT-haters. First it was only me, but now the truth is becoming much more clear to all. anyone that posts nagative posts and sounds like he/she knows what we are talking about is deemed a serious threat to you and your investments.

From your post , I see your mind is just full of hate and prejudice against Microsoft.

Your logic on what constitiutes a monopoly as quite twisted as well. Where in any of your readings did you discover that a monopoly means that it must be one that can be maintained? Just because MSFT will likely not hold its long-standing monopoly on the Intel desktop doesnt mean that it hasnt had and current still has a monopoly.

I want you to explain clearly where you found this definition of a Monopoly...

Microsoft controlled 90% of the desktop OS market , but it does not means it has a monopoly if it can lose it overnight because the change of technology or market.

You people will twist anything to defend MSFT's honour - wont you.
