steven, the idea of linux and oos is captivating but,
i have 2 questions:
1. is sun willing to jump on linux and support it?
2. si anyone making the interface more user friendly so that it might compete with windows 98 (not just NT)?
....seems like a great opportunity

Dear Stephen: WELL, if that wasnt ALL you wanted to know about Linux the March 1999 issue of PC WORLD also has a fairly lenghty article on it as well. Going from memory, but I think they know of about 2 1/2 million users and suspect the total number may be 10 million now. On the other hand MSFT sold about I think 90 million copies of their software last year. JDN
