Brad Bolen: OT I think you have jumped right over the point I am sure Monty was making. The dream of the US was to guarantee the right to the “pursuit” of happiness, etc...not guarantee "it". And, many (of course not all) made choices along the way, not to study in school, not to make it to work on time or show up to work regularly or really apply themselves or made other choices such as drugs and crime. These are clear choices individuals should be prepared to live with after they are made and not expect others to bail them out. Regards, LG
