Mark,
Actually eBay in particular and the net in general have been a godsend to many of our antique dealer, art dealer, and bookseller friends. I have more than one friend doing 8-10K a month in business on the net. Many have given up shows to concentrate on net sales. Quite amazing.
I've helped a number of them purchase and setup computer equipment and web access and all who have gotten past the fear stage have done very well.
The most difficult step for most is posting images on the web. Dealing with camera software, FTP programs, and storage management is quite a challenge for many new users.

<<Still, I can't see this Kodak project being very important. I should think the people who use online auction services must be more clever.>>
Well, if you pound around the collectibles areas in sites such as eBay, your perception would change rather radically.

Thanks,
Yogi
