I agree. It is long overdue. To spend so much money on defence is insanity.I hope some peace comes to the subcontinent. Came across a real good book at the library. "Traditional India" edited by O.L. Chavarria-Aguilar Prentice Hall, 1964. Talks about all aspects of India. Geography, Indus Civilization, History of Indian Thought, Origins of Hindu Speculation, Indian Music, Kautilya's ARTHA-SASTRA and more. More later. Regards, Satish

Mohan At the risk of sounding llike a racist, I dont nbelieve you can trust the word of Pakistanis. If you remember, it was 1962 I believe, when we were screaming Hindi-Chini bhai bhai. Sonn thereafter we were attacked and badly defeated. The only thing Nehru could say was that we were stabbed in the back. Well if you are a king (and Nehru certainly was king) or a leader, you have to hope for peace and friendship but always, always be prepared for war.
