>>I see we are trying to compare apples with oranges again??<<

Are we really? I was simply noting that Barrick made a friendly bid for STT while having failed a hostile bid for ARP. I am not suggesting they are both equal in every way but one thing is certain, Barrick's treatment of SST shareholders was very different to ARP shareholders. Why Frank. You tell me why! If Barrick wants ARP why did they do their bid this way? Or better yet why not bid for STT the same way? Why be the nice guy all of a sudden. How can this help ABX shareholders. Didn't they pay far too much for SST? Is is OK to dance with a popper after one has tried to rape a lady? Do you not see the extreeme differences here?

>>As for ARP, I think Lundin blew it,(they got too greedy)<<

There is another way of looking at this Frank. Maybe just maybe Munk blew it for the same reason! What would you have Lundin do. Give away the store for a song. What if there is 20 m oz at Valadero and what if there are several Amable like gold finds with in the ARP land holdings. What would you say of him then. "Stupid fool for selling to ABX so cheaply?" It is always easy to call the play when the goal is scored. You speak as though you know exactly what should have been done. But the game isn't over yet Frank. Don't be too quick to point the finger. Wait a little and see what becomes of the saga.

>>and now he is trying to slow down the sell off with this poison pill he has just adapted. <<

I really don't see your point here Frank. The poison pill is a defensive measure against another hostile bid in order to force the bidder to give time to ARP management to seek counter bids from competing sources. How will this dilute the stock. No hostile bid will precipitate the dilution if it is done according to the stipulations of the Rights plan. I really don't get your point. May be I am missing something.

>>At the rate they are punching up gold to silver, this is going to be a great silver producing property weighed heavy with gold credits?? <<

Please tell me how your knowledge of the resourse estimates leads you to this conclusion.

Thanks in advance
