Michelle: You recently said..<< ...remember to think of Dell as more than a boxmaker - Dell is an e-retailer and as such is capable of extending their reach.>>

I couldn't agree more. DELL is starting to sell a portfolio of products for the IT and consumer market. In the future they may use their virtual integration model and their e-tailing core competencies to offer new high margin products and services.

I'll leave you with a quote from Michael's new book "Direct from DELL: Strategies that Revolutionized an Industry"...

page 169....

<<Generally speaking, customers have not been particularly pleased by our industry. And yet at DELL, we've always tried to exceed their expectations with our products and service. When you delight your customers--consistently--by offering better products and better services, you create strong loyalty. When you go beyond that to build a meaningful, memorable total experience, you win customers for life.
Our goal, at the end of the day, is for our customers to say, "DELL is the smarter way to buy a computer.">>

Best Regards,

Scott
