Hi gator. On this used underwear thing.... I never knew why people kept bringing this up. Then I went to a tax seminar and the accountant told us that Clinton was dinged for deducting $4. instead of $2. for "underwear" on his taxes... she then went on to explain...

There is a book called "cash for your used clothing" that lists all deductions allowed by the IRS for any number of items (not just clothes). If you are prudent in your deductions, you will get a box of used clothes together and take them down to Goodwill every year. The Goodwill people then make a list of what you have in there, the category and what it is worth as a service to you! You, the donator do not do this - they do. There are a lot of items that fall under the "underwear" category... socks for example and some nighties and stuff. So Clinton took a bunch of clothes to goodwill and they misassigned $4. instead of $2. on his donation list (which was then transpired to his 1040). Big deal! Sheesh these nuts will latch on to anything.
