Steve,

I had an interesting trade on Friday that confused me. I shorted CYOE and just filled an order for 2,000 shares @ 6 1/8. So then I placed an order for another 2,000 shares @ 6 1/4. Well, 6 1/4 was the high of the day, so imagine my surprise when I found out that I got a partial fill of 1,500 shares @ 6 1/4 a little later.

In the past I have had this happen before, but later a stock would crash through my limit and I just figured it was some MM shenanigans, but the high for the entire day on Friday for CYOE was 6 1/4!

Well, I'm certainly delighted with the partial fill, just confused on the trade. How is this possible in view of the uptick rule and all?
