What he did do was rewrite the clunky version of Basic, and then paid someone to rewrite DOS. As for Markman, the overriding concern of any corporate executive should be improving shareholder's value (and I mean value and not price here), whether one takes a long term view of that charter or not. I personally don't see how Markman has done that, and would suggest that were his compensation package based on his stock's performance over time instead of some salary, we would be seeing a different stock chart. During the greatest bull run in the history of the stock market, this stock tanked, and then has oscillated between $4-$7. A dismal record given the opportunity that existed to lebverage contacts, business alignments, demonstrable technology and other considerations. Yes, the author of that staement was talking about now. There is nothing else of importance to think about other than now and next. just a thought. lastshadow
