Hi Joe,
As far as I know, SI has said nothing about BrowseMaster one way or the other.

I think it's good that you are concerned about security. If you are really paranoid but want to use BrowseMaster, you can always configure BrowseMaster in non-member mode, and then you will not need to enter your username and password.

Since you asked about security, I want to give you and everyone else my word that the BrowseMaster program does not collect data of any kind, except in performing its functions. There is no way for me or anyone else to determine any information about you because you are using the BrowseMaster program. Of course, if you are really paranoid about this, I encourage you to hook up a packet analyzer to your network connection to determine this for yourself. There are analyzers that can tell you the contents of every packet that your computer sends to a network, whether it is directly on a LAN or is connected through a modem. If you do this, you will find that BrowseMaster only accesses the sites you tell it to access. I hope this addresses your concerns.

Regards,
Craig
