Ah, yes, the proverbial FU money question. Preferably such money is placed in solid tax-free bonds of reasonable maturities.

Mike, It is the same thing in gambling. I have told the story about a working class woman who hit a $2300 superfecta at the track. She had lost all that money back within two weeks. Putting half in a money fund and going nuts with the rest just made too much sense for her. <g>
