For my next article, I will cover why so many misrepresentations are made in the press in this area...besides the fact that gossip sells.

...some people may be surprised.

Favorite quote, from UK. Why doesn't this make the headlines in the British rags?

Dr Jaime Costa, of Madrid, Spain, said:
In a visit to Madrid Polytechnic University on December 9, 1998, the FAO Director General Jacques Diouf stated that the increase in food production brought by transgenic food will reduce by half the 800 million people - including 200 million children with less than 5 years - which are starving today.
While food distribution may be the real problem of hunger, the more food is produced, the easier will be to distribute it, and the less additional natural spaces will be plowed.
Millions of words are being written on genetically modified food, but the millions of people considered by the top food authority of the United Nations should never be forgotten.

I was surprised that the Globe & Mail would go for such a biased and one-sided piece of "journalism" (it is Canada's national newspaper with over 100 years of history), but then Canada did reject Monsanto's application for approval of the bovine hormone.

P.S. I never did believe that Charles or the Queen did Di in. Shapiro makes sense. Big bad wolf!
