SB, Two questions: 1. Did you note my consistent use of the phrase on average in my posts? 2. Do you understand what selective sampling means and that you are engaging in it? (I understand that you got a 4.0 in your statistics course.) Unless you take the route of CDs, any investment strategy will have a down moment where the return is negative. What if the investor dies at that moment? Well, you may go and start investing in CDs based on that, but I would, frankly, start laughing at such a suggestion. -BGR.
