Premillennial Premillennial and postmillennial refer to the two broad understandings of the end of history (or eschatology, below). Amillennialism sides with the post-mil view, but tends to spiritualize the fact of kingdom advance. It cannot bring itself to believe that Christ will return to a completed work of His church's actual and material dominion in the earth.
