Well, I was hoping there was some relatively easy way to find a basic pattern that I was just overlooking. Hmmmm.

So I suppose the best I can do with MSWin is just try to describe mathematically as much as I can, like going up a certain amount three days ago, then going down, using ref and hhv and llv, etc. I'll read the descriptions of all the functions again to see if something else can help in honing in on the pattern.

Another idea, as I see it, is at least to say what the pattern is *not*, so that a scan can exclude as many stocks as possible falling into that category of 'not like this.'

Thanks!

I haven't tried it--I just saw a large ad for it in Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities.
