Preannouncements across various industries? And more than the average quarter? From what angle are you looking at this? Weakness in multinationals with problems in overseas markets? Or is your reference to preannouncements still contained to the pc business? (edit: when you said preannouncements, it seemed like maybe you were broadening out the discussion beyond just the pc business.)

Bill, Just wanted to say that I've enjoyed watching your Bull/Bear debates on CNBC. IMHO I think that they should have more segments like it covering the market and a broad range of industries, and can those foolish (no pun intended) Buy, hold, sell pieces. I also wish that they would come up with some more creative bulls to pit against you. I'm sick of hearing the mantra, "inflation is low, the economy is strong, and baby boomers have no place else to invest their money."
