China was a peasent state only short 25 years ago and now just go and visit. Same for India, SUNW, CA MOT, HWP and the list is long develop very advanced products there I do not disagree with your post... except that.... China IS a peasant state, worse, it has a corrupt collectivist government. I have been there. And as for their Oriental mysticism ?... no different than Jerry Falwell, et all... ... all moonshine, no different than Hollyweird. Yes they have very smart engineers, programers, etc. The only reason US companies are migrating there is because over there, companies do not have to pay such high salaries/compensation packages for unskilled workers, etc. (it varies in each case). But most importantly.... they will not be facing "liability risks" as in the US. (Product, environment, employee injuries, and the list continues to grow). Let Congress and the legal system continue under the present trend of liability awards etc.... and it will get worse. Just my opinion.
