Very well put David. Your philosophy is what I mostly followed over the the last umpteen years and it has given me the best returns. Dominate in a new product and the market, good R & D and a little luck which comes from hard work. Ron

No direct mention of biometrics in this link, but this is the kind of technology IDX should stay on top of -- a "virtual server": Message 7880195 IDX and this industry will have the greatest value if the Web is transformed into an unlimited number of software controlled, individualized, protected subnetworks reliant upon biometric authentication for entry. Anything that promises to go in that direction should get a hard look from the company.

What worries me is big brother. Look what he is now doing to gun owners. The paperwork involved with the instant check, that now replaces the ill conceived "Brady Bill" was supposes to be destroyed after the law abiding citizen was found not to have any outstanding felony convictions. This administration is now illegally holding on to the records, for how long who knows. How easy would it be for him to begin to amass databases on any group of individuals it wants! It is bad enough that we are bring profiled by the type and number sites we visit!
