Real time charts and/or quotes <<Jenna I'm looking for a program to watch for the proper time to buy the stocks in the newsletter and watch list.>> I'm looking for someone to help out with some of the morning updates when I am either on the phone, making my own trades (which takes me away from some of the others) or away from my computer.

Although I keep up with most of them I can't possibly keep up all of them. We will update you when the stocks have reported but we urge you to have a database that includes news reports. You don't even need real time news. At night you just check the stock picks and if there was news any time during the day you should find that in your portfolio. If you dont have that then then use the yahoo financial site at: quote.yahoo.com in the evening.. you can put in up to 12 (probably more I only tried 12) stocks separated by commas and you get the news together with the graphs and quotes.

As for the watch list and newsletter I do understand that it is not simple to follow both daily, although I used to follow about 50-100 stocks on a daily basis before Market Gems. That is why we decided to give 2 separate subscriptions, one for the newsletter and watch list so new folks won't have to follow both. This can be a boon to our subscribers who will still have both for the same price up to 52 weeks from April 1999, but ironically it won't solve the problem of having both the newsletter and watch list to track.

Real Time quotes and charts make it much easier, especially if that is all you watch and I have removed my entire database consisting of 243 stocks last month to watch only our own MG picks exclusively.

You already have our research and that takes the lion's share of my time. I can spend 1 hour or more researching a stock and 2 minutes buying it. Others are the opposite, they mull over a trade and can't pull the trigger but if you ask them if they know anything about the stock, it's historical trading patterns, etc. they say they don't. I think its a matter of confidence as well.

I had probably 5 unsuccessful trades during February. Two of them were options so that wasn't too bad. I had 15 successful trades. I equate the unsuccessful trades that with the negative market climate last week and the wrong signal given off by ELNK, when it closed up 5 day before earnings came out. I learn from my mistakes and hope to impart lessons from those mistakes to others.
