Thanks Colin, I will have to do more research. I thought I would declare Mark to Market when filing for 1998, but it sounds like I need to get more information. Thanks for your input.

What do you have to do to file using marked to market and applying the profits/losses over one year? This is the first year I would be filing using marked to market and as a trader.
