Tomorrow Intel will face its trial. If the government wins, it will invite series of legal suits later, which will tear down the CPU . Intel will need to take the Video functions off from the CPU to make sure that it did not violate the antitrust law which will hurt these companies making Video chips. Intel will also need to take the Audio functions , the MMX technology, the Modem function , the network function from its CPU to
prevent an antitrust suits from companies like 3com, Rockwell, S3, National Semi, Creative Lab....etc. So, after Intel taking all these capabilities from its CPU, then what is left ? a primitive 8085 !!!!!!!
