He was not removed from office on a vote of the Senate after being impeached by the House, The Senate trial (and the impeachment)are each a political process. The "trial" proceeded with no witnesses, etc. Bubba will be indicted once he leaves office and he will not fare as well in a judicial forum where facts, not politics, govern the procedure. Take a look as his success rate on all the specious claims of privilege he made. In any event, I see you are not intellectually capable of distinguishing between a Senate acquital and being found innocent. To find him innocent one would have to take leave of common sense. He may in fact eventually be found not guilty in a judicial forum as well, but even then he will not be innocent. Face the facts. He lied. He perjured himself and he obstructed justice. Only the sorry state of affairs in the House and Senate and Starr's politically tin ear saved him. JLA
