Jim, he could fire up the entire Republican party if given any support from the leadership. IMO the two most likely candidates to defeat Al Gore in 2000 are Alan Keyes or the Way's and means chairman. The rest have to much baggage (Bush), not enough charisma, (Forbes, Dole) or waffle too much like politicians when faced with tough choices. The problem is in convincing the clueless inside the beltway Republican pundits of this. Michael
