Laser, I agree that the article from the SEC was a good contribution to this or any thread where persons desire to know in depth. But I do agree with Paunch that the tactics performed by those who short stocks can cause damage to a company that is uncalled for in the extreme. Do Shorts put limits on how far they will go to get the share price down ? Well, to me the answere is: All its takes is one, the one shorting your stock. You have declared yourself a shorter, and I have responded to this on another thread by saying that the end result is what counts, not that you show yourself or not. What you do to make your money is counter to that of shareholders in the company you short. If you have bad or damaging news or facts about the company, then please present them so that they may be deal with. Anti-hype is a very different animal than hype. Telling an average IQ person that they are very smart is not in the same place as telling them they are very stupid. Both miss the mark of truth, but one hurts. IQ here is used in loose terms.
