Anthony,
Just got set up to short at Watley...at 3:30 on Fri. Not being in a position now, give me 1 and 2 that YOU would gain a short position in now if you didn't have one already. Listened to Bob Brinker's Moneytalk today. I've come to value it as an excellent barometer of what is/will go on with the masses/investors. He has been right since I've listened before last Oct. Called the bottom. Called this net correction. Calls for further correction--dow and s&p down around 10%--before new highs. The conservatives of America DO listen to him and others like him. Seems at the very least to create self fulfilling prophecy. Looks to be a great time for shorts in general, and for this group...who kick butt in a rising market, PUT ON THE GALOSHES! whatever that means..lol. I've cleaned out my longs, and look forward to a profitable time ahead. I'll begin tomorrow. Suggestions? (by the way, I'm in Charlotte NC but lived in Westlake Village/Thousand Oaks for a while last yr. I know the area like my hand if I can be of help of you guys on the detective side.)

> Michael please let me know what the best DVD player is and where to get it

Hi Tony,

Hope you had a good one in Vegas. Depends what you mean by 'best'. You can pay upwards of $5K for these things, then multiple 10's of thousands over and above that for projection and sound systems. That will buy you a tremendous audio/video setup. My bias was definitely towards the video side as I just don't believe that ultimate reproduction is necessary in home theater (Note: this is coming from a guy with $25K tied up in 2 channel - and very happy about it as well). I spent quite a while testing out units up to about $1500. For my money, the top of the line Toshiba units came out best. I ended up with a model SD-3108 and am very pleased. Sony and Denon sell quality stuff too.

Hope this helps,

Mike

P.S. If you ever do this, make sure that the system color calibration is done by a professional. Worth far more than the couple of hundred it costs.
