Anthony, I'm glad you might think the idea has merit. I think by the time the seminar has passed so many people will have thier lives changed because of what has been done on this thread that further incentive will be a moot point. By then we will own our own country!! I just remember you mentioning in the past how you missed some good shorts because they were not brought to your attention except in hindsight. My main focus of the additional incentive was to shift part of the burden away from you and towards the rest to encourage and foster learning as a team. Some say it would encourage frivolous posting. I disagree because only well thought out prospects with backround supporting the short would count. I hate when someone says "How about ABCD for a short?" The person should say why they think we should short ABCD with things like basic fundamentals and background. Then you could comment why its a good candidate or not. Like I did a few posts ago on GTSG. Even if the post dosn't past the muster, its a great way for the begginner to learn why he/she should short or not short a stock. The main purpose of the the suggestion was to foster learning and teamwork. We already are doing that but I think this would take it to the next level. If you don't want to do it thats OK! i was just throwing out what I thought was a good idea. Your Humble Servant, Rob
