I.m not qualified to dispute you over the field of computer technology. However, the Generation-X doctors fall very short of their teachers. When you need medical or surgical care, who do you seek...a 35 year old who was an engineering major in college or a doctor like your oldtime pediatrician.Ask your young docs if they know how to use a stethoscope or otoscope.Let me also say that living through the political and national turmoil of the sixties gave us character.Where did your generation get character...from the internet? We had to endure the trauma of a draft number not a pager number.

UMMM, Didn't the boomers create Gen-X? I mean, like provide the environment and nurturing conditions which provided the launching pad for them? Just a stray thought.

I am the child of boomers and kind of blame them for the lame consumer-culture that defines the USA.

The Gen-Xers are not the ones creating the urban sprawl that's destroying (defining) the current US culture. They don't have the wealth to do so.

E-tailing arrived about ten years too late. What are we going to do with all of those cookie-cutter looking lame-ass mini malls that litter the landscape? I say turn 'em into retirement homes in about 20 years.

More B.S.
