I am out of this sucker at 18, 17. I don't expect this Q is going to be better than the last. I sold some shares at 24 and bought quite a few options now it is worthless, what a joke. The funny thing is I knew too much a little about TQNT. Bleeding and walk away, I will pick this dog again below 13 and trade it this time. Last Q they were quite busy, I thought that they were doing well, did not know they sold poop to make up the number.

Here is my 4Q98 earnings breakdown.

For the last reported Q, they stuffed in an extra $500K in the "other
income" line. So, we can't give them credit for that going forward.

Here are the Revenue streams along with Operating incomes.
Operating income ignores taxes and "other income."

1998 1Q98 2Q98 3Q98 4Q98
Revs 23.681 27.874 29.112 30.938
op inco -12.764 1.629 2.323 2.467
Seq earn growth nm 42.6% 6.2%

The revenue and earnings growth are showing about a 27.5% annual
growth rate. The guidance given by management is about exactly that,
or a little higher.

Slap a 27 P/E onto operating earnings, apply a 35% tax rate(x0.65),
annualize (x4) and divide by 9.9M dil shrs out, gives the current
"value" based on reported numbers.

$2.467*27*0.65*4/(9.9) = $17.49

They earned $0.16 last Q on a fully taxed basis on operating earnings.

However, guidance on bookings reveals a 1.15:1 book to bill ratio.
This implies a bigger growth rate going forward than 6% sequentially.

A 3 month book to bill of 1.15 to 1 implies a 75% growth rate
annually.

Also, the next quarter is now 100% booked, with the next Q after that
57% booked. This is an improvement over the previous quarter's report
where the next Q was 90% booked, with the following Q booked at 30%.

%Booked 4Q98 1Q99 2Q99
3Q98 report 90% 30% -
4Q98 report 100% 57%

Since bookings are based on guidance given the Street, increasing the
%booked numbers implies the greater likelihood of beating
expectations.
