Fred,

<<Where did you get the 'current cash' number from ??
>>

I use Yahoo as I like the way it is organized. Here is a link to a typical watch list for this sector. Note the "Addtl Info" column with links to many sections.

quote.yahoo.com

Under "Profile" you will find Cash holdings. Be warned, however, that this may be out of date. I usually use other sources to confirm that I am seeing the most recent financial data, especially in low cap stocks. You can change the list of stocks by adding or deleting from the URL in your browser's location address. It is fairly intuitive. Just be sure to change the bookmark if you do that so when you return you will get the newly updated list.

When I look at a stock more seriously I usually check the SEC Edgar database and read several quarters of filings, especially the latest , of course.<G> There are many portals. Here are a few:

edgar-online.com

freeedgar.com

edgarscan.tc.pw.com

This latter is my favorite and is from Price-Waterhouse, Coopers. I like its fast search engine.

For another quick snapshot location you might try:

marketguide.com

Hope all of these help.

best,
Stitch
