Sea otter,

I found this on the web. It was dated 2/2/98 so it is a little old. I found it interesting that GMGC was looking for someone that has knowledge in speech recognition, Java, C++ and UNIX would be useful.

For erpsource, notice the UNIX.

It goes to show you the time and effort it takes to build a service such as GMGC. In a way this is good as it shows that no anyone can get a system similar to Portico or MagicTalk up and running overnight.

Take care,
Kurt

SO

Sorry to ask, but this convertible thing still baffles me. Anyone got a synopsis for me to slowly get the picture? (Probably after it's too late.) I gather that rights to own at a given price, if held in significant number, can affect market value when ultimately exercised. Smells as though something else may be afoot behind that screen. Maybe not. Suspicious my nature, am I.

Sea Otter,

>Therefore I really do want to hear negative views. For instance,
I wish I had opened my ears some months ago when we were talking
about the converts! I really didn't factor that into my
thinking when I started buying GMGC again last fall. A
mistake in timing, in retrospect. Hopefully the clash of differing opinions will allow us all to earn handsome returns.<

I sincerely hope that you, and others on this thread, Straight Up, Seconds Out, The 2 Kurts, etc..., know and understand that I didn't come here to be a party pooper. I didn't come here to knock this company, it's management, or future potential. You should know from my past posts that I've not only been long here twice (and very likely will be again), I LIKE the company and I think that in time, alot of money will be made here for alot of people. You're lucky though. You learned about what converts can do at a $20,000 loss. I learned what they can do at almost a $70,000 loss. (In a different company). So you can understand my need to speak out against them and any company that does them for the benefit of those on these boards who haven't had the
benefit of the kick in the butt that comes to the shareholders with this kind of financing. And I hope that Mr. Markman is reading this so he knows how this can affect an investors attitude to buy (or stay away) from his company. As a potential investor (re-investor), I WANT him to know what my concerns are. He should. He's the main man.

Best wishes to All,

VIPER-------<

P.S. FWIW, I see over 5 million shares short in this company right now. Without the converts killing every good news release that comes out (within 2 days), which I suspect is what's been happening here, once they're over, those 5 million short shares will be like rocket fuel on the right news, in addition to "Joe, I never heard of GMGC, public" wanting to grab some shares. The BIG question is WHEN? : )
