Hi Keith;
I opened up the Datek account in April 1997 and let it sit dormant (until last month) while I traded with Canadian discount brokerages.

There has been a continuous erosion in service at TD Greenline due to their growth and new customers. For my type of trading it's become totally unsuitable. The local office is good and tries hard, but their online servers are overloaded and extremely slow. This is a hardware issue.

There are enough satisfied Datek users out there. I was and still am in touch with several of them. I suggest that if you actually fund your Datek account, and get a few trades under your belts you will never look back.

Regards,
Cary R.

P.S. If you're coming down to our office I suggest you call first and come by yourself. There is no store. We're a distributing company. Your girl friend will be bored to tears as we discuss the markets !
Hey, how about it Winnipeg day-traders? Does anyone want to meet for coffee ?
