Peace, Neo, I'm on your side. I was (I thought) simply sarcasticly asking Mac how much HE thinks should be forgiven because someone is defending himself. As you say, the position is really lame.

Neocon,
1) Do you have any motive at all for Clinton to commit this Jones, and by extension Starr, Obstruction of Justice crime? I really don't.
2) The issue agaist uninhibited gun ownership is not their right to it, it is the killing done that is not in self-defense. I do not now see a good way to combine the theoretical with the practical. Personally, I favor full registration. That at least would allow crimes to be solved.
