More important than his defense of Clinton is his classic statement of the thesis that Capital steals the proceeds of Labor, and that were it not for the intervention of the government Labor would surely be ground into the dirt by the depredations of Capital. He may not know the source of the views, but these are Marxist theses. In the light of these earlier statements, it is hard to view his description of his political twists and turns as anything more than an amusing eccentricity. In the same way, it is beguiling that he seems to be an evangelical of some sort himself, but is as horrified as any secularist of the "Religious Right", but it mystifies more than it enlightens.

I'm an independent. I voted for Senator Warner for example.
