The unknown my friend. that is what the bullion is great for covering - because I don't know will happen. Your bank has been into "funny" investments and fails - one oz will carry you quite a long way. Original "just in case" money. I feel everyone should have a bit. bwdik. as I said , though, you being a jeweler have some always near at hand. Richard, I never felt this "vulerable." I really do not agree but there is not such thing as what is correct and what is not. Glenn
