Just thinking. Why do you think they are giving away free t-shirts? Obviously, they are trying to entice new subscribers but why the gimick? Are subscriptions down? Is the rate of growth for new paying members decreasing? The last number I saw regarding SI was 80,000 paying members back in June. Does anyone have any more current information? I know I am reading to much into this promotion but it got me thinking about the status of SI and I figured I would see what the thread had to say before our friend Auric Goldfinger starts screaming SELL!
