If Monsanto is winning science medals, it will make competing companies (and the trash press) hate them even more. It's actually kind of sickening to watch...but maybe not in the long term. Let me explain.

You guys do know (I'll say it again) that all the misleading press of late about Monsanto is due to Monsanto's overnight success in several markets...and fear by others of more successes to come. For example, I'm sure the health food industry is really scared about Monsanto's healthier food products which start coming out soon. These products can be proven to be better for your body, and offer low price points compared to "organics"...sadly for organics, they have health benefits which people only imagine in their minds.

Yes, I think all this negative attention given Monsanto will end up vindicating them. At some point, competing interests will give up sponsorship of Greenpeace, et al.

Does anybody know what it will take to ultimately get FDA approval to sell Celelbrex over-the-counter (without prescription)?

In best case circumstances what could be the earliest possible approval for non-prescription sales?

It seems to me the real money to be made from Celebrex occurs when it competes directly with the vast ibuprofen, aspirin and acetaminophen markets.
