stockbull - That was a very interesting article. I have no doubt that Cisco wants to leverage the IOS in an attempt to dominate in the carrier and ISP sector the same way they dominate the enterprise sector. I doubt they will be successful. Carriers and ISPs will insist on multivendor products that will interoperate with other products. Carriers, in particular, will insist on interoperability. I seem to recall that about one year ago, GTE was ordering Cisco and Nortel to make Cisco's routers work with Nortel's transport technology. Just my thoughts. I would appreciate hearing others. Ken
