I don't know how accurate my Dart chart is, but it looked like a 35K volume at 10:30
Uh oh...we're heading down...
looks like daytraders....

another thing..what news is coming out of EBAY...BIG volume surge at around 10:30

Thank you for your explanation of stock price and volume. I am going to save it for future reference.

What you say about NAVR being more news driven than a stock such as CPQ makes sense to me. Just in terms of IPOs, when CPQ made a statement it was going to spin off Alta Vista in an IPO CPQs price went up a bit [but very little]. When NAVR is expected to be making an announcement about the netradio IPO it *jumps*.
