Jess, I know in hindsight that I should have heavily discounted the absurd numbers being bantered about by the cheerleadng minority. I take offense, because that was me. My optimism was not unfounded, because VLSI research and Dataquest supported it. Their projections for the DUV stepper market were incredibly bullish. Now, I take their estimates with a grain of salt. The one thing which i wish others would realize is that there are truly novices out there who are going occasionally to believe the absurd and put down their own (and possibly their family's) money based on what they read. Hey, I believed the predictions of market research firms. The sole purpose of these companies is to predict the market for products. It is my intellectual laziness that can be faulted. I should have done my own research. Bob
