Is trading in CIEN being halted or not? How come no trade since 14:23 pm? Any news or what is going on.

You hit the nail on the head. GS' comments can be interpreted as "Nothing's really changed at Ciena just yet to warrant a much higher stock price, but we really want it to go up anyway."

They may've just as well have asked "pretty please go up now Ciena?". =-}

You will have to be patient through the next quarter. This quarter, the company is getting good notice on a possible turn around. If this continues into the next quarter, with an eps up-side surprise, there will be a bigger movement in the stock. For now, it's a waiting game, and this thread should pretty much dry up, barring new company announcements.....My 2c, Robert
